When you buy a custom trailer it’s important to have the confidence that it’s going to last over the long term. In special cases we prototype our designs and run them through a stress test simulation. Here you can see an Asterion B trailer. Now we’ll perform a Stress Test on the chassis. This stress test will show the load that the chassis bears when it’s tipping. The colours indicate the amount of stress on each part of the chassis. Out of this simulation we can determine the material grade and thickness we need. We typically go for the highest grade material and reduce the thickness. This reduces the weight of the trailer allowing you to cart more product while having the confidence that your trailer is going to last.
